Disney Rumour Mill: Haunted Mansion Restaurant!

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party

So the Disney Rumour Mill is at it again today, and the most exciting bit is that Walt Disney World might be looking to opening a Haunted Mansion themed restaurant. It wouldn’t be the first time Disney has used a ride as inspiration for more, think Jungle Cruise, and Pirates of the Caribbean. The Pirates franchise is highly successful, and the Jungle Cruise has a themed restaurant (The Skipper’s Canteen) in the Magic Kingdom’s Adventureland (Walt Disney World). Plus Disney is currently working on a Jungle Cruise movie featuring Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson!!! As you can probably tell, I’m super excited about that!

It wouldn’t surprise me that a restaurant might be in the works. Rumour broke when there was news that a Haunted Mansion film could be coming our way. Hopefully, Eddie Murphy won’t star in this one….oie, what a disaster…

I’m hoping that this rumour ends up being true. I can only imagine all the cool things they could do with the restaurant. Imagine if the Cast Members inside wore face paint that glowed in the dark in the design of skeletons or something, or how about booths that resemble the doom buggy ride seats. The possibilities are endless!

What would you like to see if they open a Haunted Mansion themed restaurant?

Happy Friday friends!

Guess who just uploaded the first of many Disney Travel vlogs, this gal. That’s right, I’m going to try and overcome some of my shyness and put these family videos out there. I hope you’ll tune in to enjoy. Every Monday at 10am I’ll be posting a new Disney vlog until I have no more vlogs to share…considering I have many trips to vlog about (like trips from 2015 and 2016) I don’t think I’ll be running out anytime soon!

So head over to my YouTube channel (With Love From Bex) subscribe, watch, and tune in each week. Here’s this week’s episode!

Enjoy!

Epcot

If you’re new to the world of Walt Disney World, then I should mention that you can find Le Cellier Steakhouse inside E.P.C.O.T. at the Canadian Pavilion. The scenery is beautiful and peaceful. Whenever we go, Chris and I love taking our time walking through the grounds and admiring the beautiful flowers. Also, the show at the Pavillion is pretty entertaining. Martin Short rocks it out loud, Canadian style.Read More

So you’re taking your baby to Disney World: The Attraction Guide

Disney World Rides

So you’re taking your infant to Disney World and now you’re wondering what the heck will you and your baby be able to do there. Well, there is plenty! The thing I love about Walt Disney World is that it is so much more than just an amusement park. Walt Disney World is designed to tell a story every step you take. Each ride a new wonderful tale, you just have to be open to it.

Walt Disney wanted to create a theme park that worked for adults and kids alike. He was tired of taking his daughters to amusements parks where he could not experience the fun with them. That’s when his idea for Disneyland was born. So Walt Disney World is an extension of this idea. There is plenty to do with your infant or toddler.

When we took Wendy at 5 weeks old, we actually enjoyed every minute of it. We enjoyed awesome dining and went on many rides with the little munchkin. She also looked like she was having a lot of fun. Here’s a list of attractions you can enjoy with your little munchkins. Chris and I enjoyed many of these with Wendy. We had so much fun and I’m sure you will too!Read More

Hi Friends,

If you know me, then you know I’m obsessed with all things Disney, especially Disney World. So during the holidays, as I was surfing through Instagram, I found a totally new to me subscription box called Mickey’s Mystery Box. I had never heard of this box before, but they were offering a special Christmas box and I just couldn’t say no.Read More

Recently Chris and I took a trip to our home away from home, Walt Disney World. We had this trip booked well before we become pregnant with Wendy. I booked the trip because I bought tickets to attend Type-A Parent Conference, which was amazing, back in fall of 2015. When we found out Wendy was due in September, we had to make a decision. Were we going to brave it and bring a possible five week old (at most) to the most magical place on earth, or cancel the trip and sell my conference ticket?

We decided to brave it and I’m so happy that we did. It was such a wonderful trip, even though I was busy at the conference. Chris and Wendy enjoyed some serious Daddy-Daughter time. He was so happy to brag about the fact that he bought Wendy her first pin, took her on her first ride (Pirates), and met her first characters with him. Because of this trip, we learned a few things.Read More
