If you’re new to the world of Walt Disney World, then I should mention that you can find Le Cellier Steakhouse inside E.P.C.O.T. at the Canadian Pavilion. The scenery is beautiful and peaceful. Whenever we go, Chris and I love taking our time walking through the grounds and admiring the beautiful flowers. Also, the show at the Pavillion is pretty entertaining. Martin Short rocks it out loud, Canadian style.

Inspired by the world-famous Jungle Cruise, is the interesting and quirky Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen. During our last trip, we needed a place to place that wasn’t booked up because as we walked around the Magic Kingdom, we got hungry. Anyone’s who has planned a Disney trip knows that there are a few restaurants at the Magic Kingdom that rarely book up entirely. Lucky for us the Skipper Canteen is one of them. We checked the My Disney Experience app for a reservation and managed to grab one. YAY US!

Anyone who knows me knows how much I love event planning. It doesn’t matter what it is, baby showers, Christmas parties, rib parties, it’s doesn’t matter, I just love to plan a great event. So when it was time to plan Wendy’s first birthday, I dove right in. So the very first Disney/Pixar film I introduced Wendy to watch Pixar’s Finding Dory and she loved it. Or at least I think she did.

Heading home from a Disney vacation is always sad, at least for our family. So when I was trying to think of what I could make for breakfast one Saturday morning, it dawned on me that maybe I could sprinkle some of the Disney magic on our Saturday morning by serving up one of our favourite breakfasts, the breakfast pizza.

Let’s talk attractions! One of the women that I work with asked me what my favourite Disney World attractions were the other day and I was actually kinda stumped. Guys, I really had to think about that and even after I gave her my answer, I had to rethink it later when I got home.

I am such a child at heart and I have a feeling that it’ll shine through in my list of top 10 favourite attractions at Walt Disney World.

Okay, here goes.

Disneyland 24 hrs…The most overcrowded place on earth

So Chris and I spent a week back in May in California, courtesy of Chris’ aunt. Back when we got married, Chris’ aunt gifted us a week at timeshare in San Diego. So naturally, being the Disney nerd that I am, I looked for any special event going on at Disneyland. We had never been to Disneyland before so we were totally looking forward to it. Mistake #1 – If it’s your first time going, don’t go during a 24 hour event/60th anniversary celebration. Just don’t do it. It was cool but we didn’t even last the full 24 hours. It was crowded! I mean a can of sardines had more room to move than we did that day.

I don't really do big themes that change from year to year. I find that rather wasteful, instead I focus on stories. Pieces that speak to us as a family, ornaments that tell a story either related to an experience or a nod to each of us as individuals. How do you decorate for Christmas?
