6 Homemade breakfast sandwiches on a white kitchen countertop

Freezable breakfast sandwiches changed my life when I was a new first-time mama. Seriously. Between the all-night breastfeeding, lack of sleep, and barely noticing if my shirt was on backwards, I couldn’t imagine trying to make myself anything that remotely looked close to a breakfast meal. I’m forever grateful to all those moms in my life that recommended I plan ahead and freeze a few meals before Wendy was born. It was such a great idea and one that I’m sharing with you now. Breakfast was so much easier when all I had to do was pop a breakfast sandwich in the oven for 10 minutes and wait for the timer to go off.

brown eggs in clear bowl, with bag of english muffins, package of uncooked pork, and cheese slices on a kitchen counter

All you’ll need for these are 6 eggs, 6 pork sausage rounds, cheese slices, and English muffins. Oh and of course tin foil, and a freezer ziplock bag.  If you really want to make it easier, get out a cupcake or muffin tray to cook the eggs in all at once. It’s so much faster than having to cook each egg one at a time in a frying pan.

Then just fry up the sausage rounds. Or if you don’t like pork sausage, fry up some bacon, ham, or turkey bacon. You can customize these sandwiches anyway you want. Just make sure the ingredients you use are freezer friendly as well.

I recommend that after you assemble these and get them wrapped in tin foil, you grab a permanent marker and write the heating instructions on the ziplock bag. You can find the heating instructions below. I’ve included instructions for both the oven and the microwave.

See these are pretty quick and easy to put together, and during those busy mornings, you’ll be thankful to have something to pop in the microwave and take on the go. Or if you’re expecting a little one, make a few of these to help you during those very difficult mornings when you’ll be too busy figuring out more important things than what to make for breakfast.

How to do prepare for those busy mornings?
